The Power Plant 🪴 Founded in 2019, our shop emerged from a lifelong passion for nature and design.

The Power Plant is a thoughtfully curated boutique specialising in nature, houseplants, and lifestyle products, nestled in Paraparaumu Beach on the Kapiti Coast. We celebrate the beauty and perfection of the natural world, offering a unique selection of botanicals, natural wonders, terrariums, home decor, handmade goods, books, natural self-care products, personal accessories, gifts, and more. Our

distinct and timeless aesthetic emphasises the integration of natural elements, inspiring others to create spaces that reflect their inherent connection with nature. We believe in enhancing everyday life by surrounding yourself with plants, natural elements, finely crafted goods, and beautiful objects. Each week, we receive fresh plant shipments from some of the industry's top growers. Our carefully selected inventory is continually evolving, featuring both beloved brands and talented artisans from across New Zealand Aotearoa.

We are looking at having a store wide sale over the weekend, EVERYTHING must go! We also have some shelves, plant shipping boxes and other bits we need to sell so if you are interested please let us know instore.

After five and a half years, I’ve made the difficult decision to close The Power Plant. This journey started with a dream—a love of greenery and a passion for sharing it with our community. I’m incredibly grateful for everyone who has supported us along the way.

With unexpected opportunities and an upcoming relocation, it’s time to turn the page to a new chapter. While this change has come sooner than expected, I’m embracing what’s ahead with excitement and gratitude.

Our last day for trade at our location will be Sunday 6th April. More details to come soon, but for now—thank you for being part of this journey, I appreciate everyone for their support 🤍🌿✨🪴
