This was one of the very first paintings I created when finding my way back into art again.
At the time I was feeling overwhelmed with work and parenting, and painting became a quiet way to slow down and breathe again.

It reminded me how important creativity is for balance — not just to make something beautiful, but to reconnect with yourself a little. 💙

I completely sold out of bookmarks over the weekend (thank you so much!) — so today I’m back in the studio making a fresh batch ✨

There’s something really satisfying about this stage of the process — printing, laminating, cutting, and adding the tassels by hand. Each one is a little piece of my artwork, turned into something practical and made to be used and enjoyed.
