Last weekend, we left a teaser on our page about the beauty of the edge of the canvas. Today, we can reveal what the actual canvas looks like ......

Hubby has dubbed this one "weather patterns" there's a lot going on with this one, but I think the bright colors make this rainbow piece stand out and hubby is right (yes I did just admit that) it does look like the weather radar patterns.

After a complete rookie move last weekend of not adding enough hardener to my resin and having to scrape and sand off all the tacky resin to repour it, this one is finally finished and ready to be hung.
Look at how beautiful those colors are in the sunshine. Absolutely love how this one has turned out.

I finally got a chance to resin this beauty overnight, its still curing but the way the light reflects off it, it is going to look stunning up on the wall.
Check out that shine, the way the colours pop, that pearl red coming through catching the light as it shimmers through the darker colours.

When the repour dries better than you could have imagined. I cant wait to see those colours pop under resin.

Experiments don't always work, it pays to be kind to yourself when things go wrong and remember that each opportunity is a learning one, what didnt work on this piece, may work on another.
