Her whimsical fairy nature captivates children while she takes them on a magical journey through the fairy realm. Fairy fern will open up the world of children's magic to your children enchanting them with magic and wishes, pixie tricks and enlightening children on ways to contact fairies.

A technique I've only recently started playing with is imprinting leaves onto leather...

Imagine how excited I was when this lovely lady brought a big fern leaf to a 2 day bag making workshop and asked if she could somehow incorporate that into her bag!

This second bag was made by a very talented 15 year old who also turned up with a giant leaf and a vision of turning it into a bag.

What a beautiful few days guiding these ladies to craft their dream handbags into existence!

This was a perfect Autumn day in Ashhurst. A lovely weekend spent crafting in the sunshine with an awesome bunch of very creative adults.

I am in awe of the beautiful designs and dye jobs on these clutches!

And very much want to try making one of those boxes!

This log case has been in my head for a wee while now... After a beautiful couple of days spent crafting with good friends and much wishing that I had smaller hands that actually fit inside to do the fiddly stitching... Im very pleased with how it came out!

Leather is the first medium I've worked with where I could picture what I wanted to make in my head and have it come out even remotely close to the original vision.. This is one of the main reasons I fell head over heels for the craft... I will never stop marveling at how forgiving and versatile leather can be!

And now to think of the next log themed bag for the collection... 😍😂😍

I recently came across an amazing fibre artist she weaves the tiniest most whimsical baskets I've ever seen, out of raffia. She also adorns them with raffia mushrooms and once I saw those I became obsessed. I've been dreaming about making  one for many weeks now!

I lasted two days on holiday "resting my hands" before I got restless and ordered some rafia and started having a go. This is such a gentle slow craft and it felt like a proper holiday, only needing to carry a needle with me instead of my usual van load of tools.

Emphasis on the SLOW craft.. the mushroom took me days to complete.. and it ended up being so small it barely fits my pinky finger in it 😅! And the basket took the next week of the trip and was finished on trains and planes, whilst traveling home. I find repetitive crafts so meditative and relaxing and this one definitely feels like a holiday for the hands AND the mind 😍

I'm soooo stoked to have found a satisfying portable craft that I can do ANYWHERE!

Bush Craft Club is back in Term 3 for 8 weeks. Crafting from the three kingdoms of nature, traditional fire lighting and cooking on the fire.

Glass blowing in Japan!! The most exciting and fun day out with my not so little brother , at Shiraishi Glass Studio ☺️

What a gentle, delicate art form it is. "Gentle, gentle!!" was probably the phrase the glass master said to us the most 😂😂 I'm honestly impressed our glasses came out even remotely alike... But we can credit that to the amazing guidance and help of our teacher.

I would definitely do this again!!

Another small step on the path of my life journey to make everything I need to furnish my home.. 😆😍😆

Excited to be hitting the road again soon with these whimsical workshops! There's something for everyone this time round...
