Farewell from Kath...
This is my last week in the shop as owner so please pop in to say goodbye and share some cake with us. The new owners, Rod and Rachel, will be here from Monday next week and they would love to meet you all.
My heartfelt thanks to you, my lovely customers. We have shared many a thing over the last 5 years from birth to death and everything in between. It has been an honour to listen to your stories, share your sorrows and triumphs and, of course, create many a gorgeous project.
A lot of people have asked me why I decided to sell the shop and in response I need to quote a line from a poem by Mary Oliver entitled 'The Summer Day'...
Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?
This line really makes me stop and ponder the fragility of life and how we spend our time. So, I'm off to new adventures, creating more memories and finding some balance. No doubt I will see a lot of you around - mainly New World I reckon 😆
