This great event is on in Stratford this weekend, and we are OPEN on Saturday 16th from 11am - 1.30am for the quilters and anyone else who wants to take advantage of the unusual and exciting occurance of us being open on a Saturday! :)

Another repair, how lovely to have the beads collecting dust in the back of a drawer ready to wear again! Strung on soft flex, secured with crimps and crimp covers using the original clasp.

A fun repair this morning for Nia. This beaded clutch was sent in to have the handle repaired. Nia added new beads between the colourful feature beads, and strung it all up on medium black soft flex, with 3 crimps each side for security. On the way home today for some glittering nights out!

FREIGHT UPDATE
There is currently a sense of unsettledness in the world, and as you all know fuel costs are increasing rapidly. Our freight charge is not currently affected within NZ. We send everything via New Zealand Post, and their Variable Fuel Factor (VFF, added to the base cost of every parcel) is currently holding at normal rates. The other couriers we also have access to have increased their VFFs by 150% in the last week. So long as out VFF holds, so will our shipping fee. Our freight costs will float up and hopefully back down down from our base charge ($6 standard, $12 rural) as and when our VFF changes. We will keep you updated. International freight fees for stock coming in are already increasing. This will impact our replacement stock coming in the next month and may also limit what we decide to purchase. We will only increase our prices as necessary to cover our own increased costs. We will not be increasing any existing prices until the replacement stock actually arrives!
