✨Great to meet so many lovely new people, fab clients, and friends in the industry 🙌 at Home Design Evening on Friday night. Some great fun with these high school buddies!!! 💕 And my stand (before Jesse the IT guy sorted it after I pushed the wrong button!)

Swipe for a BEFORE and AFTER! ✨

Creating this winning kitchen wasn’t all glamour and glory... Behind the scenes, we overcame three main challenges:

1: Logical layout: By widening the annoying narrow space between benchtops, repositioning the integrated fridge first on the tall wall, bringing the cooktop to the island and sliding the main sink closer to this zone, the overall meal preparation functionality and flow is significantly enhanced. 👏

2: Material optimisation: Working to the dimensions of each quartzite slab, I strategically positioned a central bar join to achieve a seamless waterfall continuation, while the jade Viridian stone 💚 is one whole slab and utilises the book-matched slab to echo a similar exciting pattern! Both decisions were driven by aesthetic appeal and structural integrity.

3: Ventilation solution: I collaborated with the builder and joiner to devise a ducting configuration for Gaggenau’s Glass Riser ventilation, overcoming the obstacles of the concrete floor and room configurations below…. All for optimal appliance performance in removing smells and moisture effectively. 💫

Careful planning and skilled ex*****on enabled us to overcome technical challenges to deliver this exceptional kitchen. 🤩

A treat to be "Kitchen of the Week" on Friday! We're so grateful for the fun journey of designing and crafting with our clients, helping to make a connected, effortlessly flowing and storage-rich kitchen the highlight of their living. A custom bar and smart laundry also benefitted from the designer-touch too ✨ 😉

This Orewa home is unrecognisable, thanks to a stunning kitchen redesign featuring Blue Sky quartzite and Neoclassical detailing.

✨SO EXCITED to hear that our “Artistic Vibe” statement kitchen is an SBID International Design Awards FINALIST!! Amongst the top 25 in the world. Whoo hoo!! We sure had fun creating it.

The 26 international judges have scored so now its 10% on votes. Wouldn’t it be fab to bring home the trophy!?! 🙌 🏆

VOTE FOR US HERE - https://www.sbidawards.com/finalist/artistic-vibe/

It was one “out-of-the-box” quirky design the clients’ requested, which reflected their fun personality and love of colourful sculptures and striking artworks.

We chose a richly grained green quartzite to feature in block form on the island - an art piece in its own right, much like the timeless Versace designer collections gracing their home. Then through a strong functional layout, elements of surprise and impeccable detailing, the design celebrates its own magic, luxury and unique personality.

Can’t wait till November for the glamorous Awards Ceremony in London! ✨✈️🙌🤩

THANKS FOR VOTING! 🙏
