I usually manage to dodge the sicknesses our kids bring home.. but not this time! It's taken me down!
So I will spare you all and hopefully be back next week..🤞🏻
So today instead of BBQ Prep, it's mums homemade Chicken and vege soup.. it always gets us right when we are sick.. 🥰 nothing else will cut it!

Most of you would have seen or been served by our eldest boy- Finley, well he needs help fundraising for his Underwater Hockey team, so they can make it to the secondary school UWH Cup Tournament in June in Auckland.

Taupo!- No lunch in our usual spot this Friday, but fear not!- we will be at Market Central for this Easter Sunday!! 🥳👏🏼😁 which we are very excited about!

We will have the famous Brisket, Cheese and Egg Croissants... perfect Market Breakfast! 👌🏼
Also the Mac n Cheese Balls will be making a comeback!.. I know you all get very excited for these!
This time they will have a beef cheek center.. 🤤 Ohhh stop it!!
Along with Pork or Beef Loaded fries and of course our BBQ Tray where you get a lil taster of all the meats and some sides..

We are looking forward to seeing you all at our Market Central Debut..

We are back to the Taupo Motorsport Park, serving up our smoky, meaty deliciousness at the Great Lake Taupo NZIGP.... FRI, SAT & SUN..

We had such a great weekend last time we were at the racetrack so we're going back! Let's hope the weather doesn't get too rough!

After an epic weekend down in Brewtown, we are back home spending this week prepping for the Blues, brews & BBQs event this weekend.
Here's how our last weekend went-

We blew the dust off our old comp gear for our first comp of 2026 and headed down the line to compete at Brewtown, Upper Hutt. Tied in with the Bogan Fay Out, we went and threw some meat in a box and fed some hungry judges.
It was an awesome event as always, in one of the best venues to compete in.!

We ended up with;
Chicken = 7th place
Ribs = 10th place
Pork = 11th place
Brisket = 4th place
Overall = 7th place

Congratulations to our comp neighbor, the Cook Cartel for their GC, and to Scott & his Smokey Fish Bar-Bee-Q for their RGC.

We had a wicked time enjoying the rest of the bogan day out after the clean up.
And spent the next day celebrating our eldest boys' birthday running amuck with the great activities they have on offer in the brewtown complex.

Massive thanks to Phil Gorman for putting on a great event, and going out of your way to help us get there! you are an absolute legend!
Special thanks to Corey Cockburn , Bex Cockburn , and Ocie for coming up and helping out for the day and as always bringing the fun and shenanigans! Was a mean time catching up.
