We love a challenge like this one! ✨

This was a speciality installation for one of our Taupo clients, where the unusual shape of the windows meant an off-the-shelf solution simply wasn’t going to work.

The curtains were carefully measured and custom made to follow the angles of the windows and ceiling — and we’re really pleased with how beautifully they sit. It’s a great example of how curtains can soften a tricky architectural space while still working with the character of the home.

Odd-shaped windows? Angled ceilings? Something a little out of the ordinary?
Come and have a chat with us at Taupo Decorator Court. We enjoy working out solutions for those windows that aren’t quite so straightforward!

Bringing a little of the outside in đź’™

We installed these beautiful Laya Indigo curtains in a Taupo home overlooking the lake and mountains.

The colours in the fabric were a perfect choice for this home, with the soft blues and deeper indigo tones picking up the colours of Lake Taupo and the surrounding mountains.

We also thermal lined the curtains to give the room extra warmth and insulation — especially important for those cooler Taupo days.

We love the finished result and how the fabric ties the inside of the home to that amazing view outside.
