As you may remember, I love to cook. This is the prep for tonight's " TV Dinner" on this dark, cold and wet miserable winter's night.

For the jacket potatoes I follow a Jamie Oliver recipe; scrub and dry the potatoes, rub with Olive oil, then using a fork prick each potato six times, I do three on each side.

For the filling I've used tuna (in springwater) , mayo, sea salt, black pepper and paprika.

Due to other commitments we still haven't got around to decorating this guest bedroom. We'll be going to Resene this week to get the paint, paint tools and accessories that we need, so we can get started!

We still need to buy bedside lamps, a tallboy and some over the door hooks.

This is quite a small room so a chest of drawers would take up too much space hence wanting to buy a tallboy. Tallboys are tall ( hence the name) and narrow so don't take up much space and are a better storage option for smaller bedrooms.

I'd like to say a heartfelt thank you to all of my INZSPIRE followers. As you know, I'm retiring and as such all INZSPIRE operations will cease. I will be closing all INZSPIRE related social media accounts as of 5 p m Sunday 13/7/25.

However, I've opened a personal Instagram account , .gregory and would love for you to follow me there. I'll still be posting about interiors and other creative outlets and what the Gregory's ( Steve and I) are up to.

Finally we have some sunshine after all of the torrential rain we've had lately.

I had planned to go to a free Dance-Fit class down at the Tauranga waterfront however, my bad foot's playing up, it's sore and swollen. I've taken anti inflammatories and will stay off my feet as much as possible, Mr INZSPIRE will be on hanging up the washing duty!
