It’s been a busy start to the year which is great for the team and just what’s needed after the Xmas shut down.

These two gorgeous fully custom showers installed recently with Brushed Gold hardware and 2.3m high were a stunning addition to this beautiful home that’s nearing completion.

Every shower we install has been 100% custom made to measure. Credit to the designer for this home the colour scheme and finishing was stunning!

Contact us via www.waipaglass.co.nz for a consult to design your shower or splashback project!

Every now and then someone pops in with something a bit different for us to do, one such visit a few weeks back saw the cutest little barrel come in to have a Glass top fitted.

The challange was how to ensure it was secure while not damaging or taking away from the beauty of the barrel.

10mm Toughenend glass fixed with Standoff brackets and covered Countersunk screws.

It’s a beautiful little table now and this wee barrel can be enjoyed in a whole new way!

When the work phone goes in the wee hours of the morning and Glenn and I are away I have to admit the heart sank - we always feel for the business’s that have to wake us up, cause we know it’s due to some low life causing damage to their livelihood! But we are here to make sure when the crappy happens we get your business secured and up and running again as quickly as possible!

Dan answered the call to wake up and got over to securely board up so these guys could get back to trading ASAP

Well done Daniel Overington and thank your for having the boss’s back while we were away!

Not the Wake-Up Call We Wanted This Morning! ⏰

In the early hours of Sunday morning, thieves broke into our store. Huge thanks to the NZ Police, our amazing Community Patrol, and Waipa Glass for their quick response in securing the store. After a bit of shut-eye, we were back up and running, ready to serve this awesome community. No one was hurt, nothing of value lost and it won’t dampen our spirits!

Thank you for your continued support. We appreciate all of the kind words and support today💛

We have an exciting opportunity for a Qualified Glazier who wants to step up, work independently but still be part of a great team.

We offer comprehensive Glazing services to Waipa from our workshop and Showroom in Te Awamutu

• Glazing repairs to wooden and Aluminium Joinery
• Pet doors
• Custom Splahbacks
• Custom Mirrors
• Custom Frameless Showers

The right candidate will be a self starter, someone who enjoys everyday being different and being able to continue the high customer service stands we offer our customers.

As the main Tradesman you will have experience working in NZ as a Glazier, ideally you will have your Tradecert qualification but we have helped previous staff obtain their Trade Cert while working alongside our Qualified staff at our Cambridge branch so reach out and have a chat.

There is room for someone to buy the business in the next couple of years so if you want to take that next step and be your own boss we will help guide you to this goal!

You will be honest and trustworthy, as alot of the time you will be self-managing your day with the help of our office admin Linda.

We work in schools, police stations & we are the only preferred Glazing company in TA for Insurance work therefor you must be able to pass a police check.

Being on call is required, but we work together to ensure we have cover so you’re not on call every weekend.

Position is only open to NZ residents, and is available from the 19th September

Contact Jos on 0272559975 to chat about this exciting position! Or send your CV and a covering letter about yourself to [email protected]

Was an early start for Levi & Glenn this morning!

So sorry to have this happen to you guys Square Pirongia!

We wish this part of our business didn’t happen to our local community, it’s so unfair! But we are always ready to come help if and when the time comes!

We know how stressful it is for our business owners when the thieves come smashing so anything we can do to help get you back up and running is our priority!

In any Glass Emergency just call our on-call Glazing team 23/7 on 021500839

Before and after transformation!

Our customer was frustrated with water coming out into the bathroom around the existing screen.

We removed the old system and installed a Sliding shower system to fully enclose the bath/shower.

Looks fantastic and our customer is happy her problems are solved!
