There’s something so special about creating flowers to be worn for life’s big moments. 🥹🌸

It’s always such an honour to play a little part in someone’s celebrations, and we absolutely love seeing our flowers out in the world, being worn, enjoyed and making memories.

What a week, flower friends! 🌸💛

From the business awards to two beautiful weddings, lots of milestone birthdays and plenty happening behind the scenes, it’s been a big one!

We also had the opportunity to pay a little gratitude forward this week, with a special delivery of flowers, snacks and refreshments to the Whitianga Volunteer Fire Brigade — a small thank you for the incredible work they do to keep our community safe. 🚒❤️

Another highlight was a lovely 94-year-old birthday girl who made the effort to pop into the shop just to thank us for making her birthday beautiful. 🥹💕 Those little moments mean so much!

We’ve also welcomed some new faces to the team to help us through the busy summer season, had some gorgeous new product ranges arrive (with more on the way!) and are busy shuffling things around the shop to make room for even more beautiful things.

Lots happening, lots to look forward to and plenty to be grateful for.

Thank you for continuing to support our little flower shop and trusting us to be part of your special moments. We appreciate you! 🌸

🌸🏆 huge congratulations to all the finalists and winners at tonight’s Business Awards! What a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the people and businesses doing amazing things in our community. ❤️

We’re so grateful to have been invited to create the flowers for the event, taking a little inspiration from major sponsor Claymark’s branding for our designs. 💐

And an enormous shout out to our flower crew! 🌸💕Between the event flowers, a small wedding and all the usual hustle and bustle of the shop, today was a massive team effort. Everyone pulled together to make it happen, and I am so grateful .3 . 🥰

Also special mention to breezy who was an absolute weapon on the Vox boxes today. 💪

Sunday gratitude 🌿

There were lots of birthdays — bright flowers, happy messages and plenty of reasons to celebrate another trip around the sun. 🎂🌸

And there were lots of sympathy and memorial flowers too — quieter moments, thoughtful messages and flowers being sent when finding the right words can be really hard.

We even squeezed in a rather impromptu wedding along the way. 🤍 and graduation flowers for clever humans starting new chapters in their lives 🧑‍🎓

One of the things I’m always grateful for is just how many different moments in people’s lives we get trusted to be a tiny part of.

And this week we received some really lovely feedback from customers, but one little line from Anna particularly stuck with me:

“Being far away from loved ones is hard, so being able to know you do lovely work is so helpful.”

I think sometimes, amongst the buckets, orders, deliveries and general chaos of a flower shop, it’s easy to forget that part.

We’re not just sending flowers from one place to another. Quite often we’re helping someone show up for a person they love when they can’t physically be there themselves.

So this Sunday I’m grateful for that trust. ❤️

For the happy occasions, the difficult ones and all the moments in between that you ask us to help with.

And for the lovely messages that occasionally stop us in our tracks and remind us why we do it. 💛
