Here is just a small selection of the books we have on the charity table.
Are you curious about learning a new skill? Maybe this is a chance to pick up a
pre-loved book to help you along the way. Some of these traditional skills/techniques/patterns could get lost in the future, so why not make that a good reason to give a new craft a go or be a custodian of these books.

Can you remember the "Australian Home Journal"?
We have some of these journals on our charity table for $10 each. Most don't have the sewing patterns in the journals, however there is still a lot information in these, such as recipes, knitting patterns, stories and nostalgic adverts that might bring back some memories. Some of these date back to 1937. Come instore and have a careful browse at these vintage/collectable journals.

"Gears and Garland" by Urban Essence Designs
We have two panels available. The first panel with the Steampunk Father Christmas in the middle is approximately 90cm x 109cm wide.
The other panel with 6 Steampunk Christmas themed squares is approx. 60cm x 109cm wide.
The Christmas Stocking Panel is approx. 90cm wide and has 3 Christmas stockings to choose from.
We also have coordinating steampunk Christmas fabric, which is really vivid and well designed!

We have some new sewing machine trolley bags instore.
There are extra large Black and White sewing machine trolleys and two regular machine trolley bags in stock. It's a great way to transport your sewing machine to classes and also keeps the light and dust off them at home.
We can make these up for you, or you can make them up at home.

Check out our Charity Table!
All proceeds go to Street Cats South Canterbury or Ranui House (Bone Marrow Cancer Support House - which is accommodation when you are needing cancer treatment ).

We have a table full of donated sewing patterns (plenty of vintage), books, magazines, tatting and sewing supplies. We even have some free items. There are a couple of rare Vintage items.

Lets see how much we, together, can raise for these amazing charities.

No holds, must purchase and pick up in store.
