Kia Ora Mai tatou e te whānau💗
I thought I would introduce myself and my new business and why I created this.
Ko Jodeci Hiku-Toia Matthews Pulman tōku ingoa. I tupuake au kei konei kī Pōrirua. Ko Ruatahuna tōku kainga tūturu, no Ngāi Tūhoe me Ngāti Pōrou ahau.
Kia Ora, my name is Jodeci and I’m born and breed here In Porirua, I am of Māori decent. I’m from Ruatahuna which is in the rohe of Ngāi Tūhoe and i also whakapapa too Ngati Porou.
I’m a 22 year old māmā to my beautiful pēpi Arthur-John with my outstanding fiancé TeRangiera🤍
I also run another small business as an eyelash extensions technician that I launched earlier this year🥳so this is also my second business🫶🏽
My small business is called “Pani’s Sweets&Treat” I’ve been baking since I can remember. Baking has always been a big part of my up bringing as my grandmother had taught my mother and also taught myself, I’ve always loved creating amazing dishes and sharing them with other people🫶🏽.
The name of my business comes from my grandmother who is no longer with us earth side🤍she was reunited with my grandfather last year. She was one of the important and strong figured woman in my life growing up, and since her passing I’ve felt really lost in some aspects of my life, so I turned to food for comfort. My grandmother was someone who had really sweet hands, that’s a term some bakers use when referring to someone who has amazing baking skills, and that was definitely my grandmother so I decided to name my business in honor and in memory of her🕊her name was Pani Jennifer Christian🤍
Through baking I’ve found that this is one of the only ways that I feel really close to her even though she ain’t here, I hear her voice with every measurement I do and every step that I take. She touched so many people with her amazing and delicious baking and that’s something that I also wanted to do🤍
I can’t wait to share with you all, all the amazing things I grew up LOVING🥰and I hope that yous love them and enjoy eating them just as much as I love creating them🤍
