I work under the business name Composed Confusion, it was thought up as an inside joke to describe the way I live my life, in composed confusion, I thought it was kinda funny so it stuck.
I love Macrame design, each wall hanging and pot plant holder is hand knotted sometimes hand dyed by me, using natural fibres to create beautiful and unique pieces for your home.

These little guys are magic ✨
Called Orbit Orts, ‘orbit’ for the shape and ‘orts’ was a term I was introduced to by a cousin, which basically means scraps or as I call them short ends.
They are joyful, textural, use earthy colours and are as always representative of our connection to nature and our whakapapa.

My first piece of work I've made this year. (The smaller circular one.) Made using the short ends of rolls that I have left over in the Bee's Knees.
I've now made three of these little lovelies, but have no idea what to call them? I also have a hankering to make a dark version of them, possibly another trio.
Will post all three of the lighter versions in my next post, love to hear your thoughts. M x

🌟🎄🎁🌟Kept the music non-xmas on this post as I know it’s gonna trigger some people, sorry! 😘🙏
But these lil babies are hand made, some of them also feature hand dyed cord too, so that’s my long winded way of saying they can take a while to make, and they’re made to be special keepsakes, so much so they come with their own gift boxes.
So if you are looking for Christmas pressies or want your own colour for the tree (that’s right one option is customisable - actually all of them are customisable if I can do so but you’ll need to DM me so we can discuss ☺️) then pop over to the website.

Two hard things - I am going to ask for your help, it’s my first hard thing.
I need you to help me get this post out to the people who want to see it, who want to follow me and buy my art. Could you please share, like, comment and save this post. 🙏
I so believe in community and lifting people up and supporting them - I guess I have always been a ‘supporter’ rather than a ‘supportee’ so to speak. So I feel a little weird asking -it’s a difficult ask for me. 😅
I am running a 25% off all of my fibre art on the website this weekend. And I guess that’s the second hard thing to admit.
I have to sell some things, it’s so tough out there (I know, I know we hear it every day, we’ve almost become immune to hearing the fear and sadness in people’s pleas when they say this- I’m struggling, my business which is almost an extension of me is struggling.)
I really love what I do. I love creating with my hands and my heart. I love supporting other macrame artists out there. I love that I can bring colour and joy into your homes.
