Today’s been about a whole different team! 💙🤍

I grew up very much in a rugby union family, so my first real taste of rugby league came as a Bulldogs supporter. Mostly because I was a young teenage girl who was absolutely obsessed with Jarrod McCracken 😂

So there’s definitely been a bit of nostalgia in the cabin today, working on this Bulldogs jersey.

This one is now ready for final construction — a bit of a change from all the Warriors jerseys that have been coming through lately!

This one is ready for cutting and then waterproofing. With so much symbolism and meaning woven into the design of this jersey, I want to do my best to honour that as I transform it — preserving the Mana Moana, Mana Whenua and Mana Tāngata throughout the finished bag.

I think this one is going to be pretty special. ❤️💚💙

For those who are new here, I work on uNiquely Hands Crafted around my full-time job, with most of my creating happening in the evenings and on weekends.

This week I was away at a work conference, so there were no evenings in the cabin… but the sewing machine came with me! 😂🧵 In the evenings I worked on these custom shoes for a returning customer. 👟

Back home now, back in the cabin — let’s see what I can get finished today! 💙💚
