It all started when my bestfriend, life partner, sister from another mister asked me to make some bunting for her wedding reception. From sourcing the fabric, cutting (didn't enjoy this bit that much) and sewing it all up, I fell in love with the process. I buy limited amounts of fabric from numerous sources in the UK and around the world to keep it fun and fresh but it also means I have limited a

BOOK REVIEW: Loved this sweet and cute book! Another win from BK Borison, no surprises...

I was intrigued by how Jackson and Delilah's story would play out having met Jackson in First Time Caller. I was not disappointed. It's funny, it's sweet and gosh Jackson! What a guy!

Jackson was quite quirky in FTC so I was interested to see how he would be written as a Romantic MMC. Well, he was pretty amazing. Quirky for all the right reasons, so caring for his 2 sisters and gosh... How he looked after Delilah!

Delilah was a ray of sunshine and joy and so unapologetically her. Even if some didn't appreciate it, she wasn't afraid to be herself. I also love how she developed in her strength and confidence by the end.

Another great read and means I'm now fully up to date with all BK Borison books. Great but also super sad because what do you mean I have to wait till September for Grim Tidings and next year for the last in the Heartstrings series?!

When you are growing a bookish little one and she chooses to dress as Matilda for Book Week at school. Proud mum. Hubby and I glued and sawed styrofoam and cardboard for a couple of nights after bedtime to get these made and they turned out pretty good! (Just don't look at the other side 🤣🫣)

BOOK REVIEW: Oof I loved this book. It was my first foray into Ashley Poston and gosh I get the hype! 

A cross between The Time Traveller's Wife and The Bear mixed in with eccentric Aunt and you've got The Seven Year Slip. I've always loved a bit of time travel so add in a New York setting, food and romance and it had me. It was funny. It was hopeful and gosh... The hopeless romantic in me was just rooting for these two! Right place, wrong time... second chances and fate. 

Clementine (FMC).. Feeling lost, trying to deal with grief.. yet finding herself at the end of it all. 

Iwan (MMC).. The cooking... the waiting and yearning. The working hard to make your dreams come true. The hoping it will all work out. 

What I really enjoyed about this book is that outside of the magic, it was a realistic view of relationships and people. It's not just all sweetness and magic, there's change and there's growth and there's learning to love every version of someone.

I bought all of Ashley Poston's adult books after. Says it all.
