Deans' Pantry shop is open today - Sunday (14/6/26) from 11am until 4.30pm.

A good frost this morning with some early morning fog. The fog has gone, frost has gone, but boy is it a tad fresh.

Products made this past week - Gaylin's Feijoa Chutney, Pamela's Plum Sauce, Raspberry Jam, Betty's Mango Chutney, Nectarine Jam & Feijoa Jam.

We went to the Dunedin's Farmers Market yesterday to pick up an order of beetroot. Great looking beetroot which we will make into our 2 different beetroot pickle recipes, watch this space.

The weather today is improving slowly. The sun is just breaking through and little to no wind. It has to be good.

Deans' Pantry shop open today - Sunday (17/5/26) from 11am until 4.30pm

Core, what a raw day today. Frosty and foggy start and it is still foggy. Very cold on the digits and ears out walking even if they are covered up.

Products made this past week: Orange Curd, Adrian's Red Onion Jam, Black Doris Plum Jam, Blackberry Jam & Boysenberry Jam

Some of our products are available for sale at the Urban Crafters shop in George Street, Dunedin (opposite the Golden Centre Mall). If there is something on our website that you are after and is not in stock at the UC shop then let them know. They will pass on the message to us and we can drop it off there for you.

Deans' Pantry shop open today from 11am until 4.30pm. Not much of a day weatherwise, very fresh and rain threatening.
Some of the products made in the few couple weeks - Apricot Jam, Peach Chutney, Red Onion Jam, Black Sauce, Lemon Curd, Blackberry Jam, Apple Jelly plus many more.
New products to the Pantry since last being open - salad seeds. Two different mixes available with or without garlic ($5 each). We have a range of products suitable for diabetics - granola, cracker biscuits, nuts and of course the seeds.

Deans' Pantry shop re-opening on Sunday 19th April 2026 at a new location. The new address is 22 Greenhithe St, Waihola (cnr of Greenhithe St & Nore St, topside opposite the Church). Open from 11am until 4.30pm.
