NEW ON CANVAS 🌸

One of my original hand-painted floral artworks is now available as a wrapped canvas.

I painted this intuitively, building up layers of pink, burgundy and red roses, textured greenery and that deep blue vase. Seeing something I painted by hand become wall art for someone else’s home feels rather special.

Mountains on My Mind ... almost finished!
Last week, I began painting these mountains with no reference photograph and no set plan - just imagination, colour and intuition. A few final touches to go ... sharing the journey - creative everyday. Nicky x (Waikanae Paper Artist)

Mountains on my mind… Day 2 🏔️🌸

A little more progress today — building the mountains, softening the water and adding a burst of flowers in the foreground.

Now I’m leaving it to dry overnight before adding the finishing touches tomorrow. 🎨

I love sharing the process, not just the finished piece. Hopefully it encourages someone else to simply have a go at something they’ve always wanted to try. 💗

Mountains on my mind tonight… 🏔️🎨

Started this one at 8pm with no real plan — I simply felt like painting mountains, water and a little wild landscape.

This is one of my favourite parts of intuitive painting — watching something slowly emerge without quite knowing where it will take me.

A few layers in and it’s already changed several times!

I’m leaving it here for tonight… let’s see where these mountains take me tomorrow. 💙

🌹🌸 BRING THE GARDEN HOME 🌸

I’m rather excited about this one!

One of my original paintings has now become a beautiful floral wall art print — and seeing it displayed like this makes me realise just how much colour one piece of art can bring to a room. 💕

Layers of pink and red roses, touches of gold, lush greens and that deep blue vase — all painted intuitively and originally by me here in Waikanae, New Zealand. 🎨

I love it against the fresh whites and soft coastal colours of this room. It really does bring the garden inside.
