I am an emerging potty pottery person. All my life Deep down I have had surpressed artistic twitches, fidgetting waiting to be let out.

All of my creations are crafted in my home studio. each one us individually made and hand glazed by me.

And the process of the next collection begins.
My kiln is cooling down so tomorrow is glazing day so today started a fresh batch which i will colourbin a few days, a coloured a batch of clay green ready to make leaves, and experimented with a new glaze on a vessel I had made a few years back for the raku kiln which has gone to a new deserving home.
This shelf of work will grow each day as I have to make a lot 1. To fill my kiln and 2. Have enough for everyone to purchase.
I am contemplating investing my sales money into a medium sized kiln and selling my small kiln which I rarely use. It's something I've been considering as I find I sometimes want to fire a little less but quickly. Mmmm. Will see.

Ever wondered what goes on in the background. You only get to see the finished result of a lot of hard work. Having all but sold out of most popular ranges at my last two events and private sales I had prepared lots of daisies over the last week or so. Today I finished coloring about 60 + daisies for rods and over 100 to become daisy chains. I also make the leaves, the signature buttons and had made a few wall sconces and planters. Additionally I had a big animal sculpture taking up a lot of room which needed firing. So my big kiln is now on and will be finished tomorrow morning with a good day to also cool before I can glaze and do their final firing. So here is a little clip of what the kiln can look like. Sometimes its packed even more but today I needed this batch for Sunday. Enjoy the process.

Just home after an awesome time at Kinloch Market. Ive got a huge job of making more pieces having sold so much but fortunately I have a kiln full to fire this week so should be on track for the Altrusa Home and Garden ramble on the 1st. Thankyou for all your purchases, lots of customers new to me, hope to meet you again.

After selling all but 4 or 5 of the coloured daisy chains I've managed to make a few more ready for Kinloch market in a weeks time. If there is one or two you are keen on you need to message me and let me know. I can only hold with full payment as they are very popular. I will be attempting to get more ready for the next events over the next 4 weeks.

I love this sculpture, they seem to get better and better as my ideas form and get chance to break out into clay. She is for sale but will go to Otaki Pots and Garden Festival if still around.

Ive made and restocked these bee themed wall decorations. They flew off the table at Pirongia market two weeks ago very popular indeed. These are all I have currently until I make more which takes some time. My next market is Kinloch Market on 25th October. I will then be at one of the gardens at Altrusa Home and Garden Ramble on the 1st November. Of course you can purchase any of my art privately from me if uou cant get yo the few events I will be at. Most pieces can be posted.

Well it was wet and a bit windy later in the day but I am delighted to say we had a very busy day sold out of quite a few things, daisies and bee themed art was flying out of the gazeebo. Every year I get busier and busier with new customers and returnees who want to add to their collections. So I will ge busy over the next four weeks making more art and restocking ready for my next event which is Kinloch market later in October followed by Te Awamutu Annual craft fair in November.
I thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for their support of my art and passion, you are all the people who keep me going, creating. I wouldn't be able to enjoy what I do and put so much love into my art without your continued support.

PIRONGIA ANNUAL CRAFT MARKET THIS SUNDAY. I WILL BE THERE AND THIS IS ONE OF THREE I WILL BE ATTENDING THIS YEAR AS I HAVE LIMITED MY ATTENDANCE THIS YEAR.
