We recently had the pleasure of installing double-track curtains in this incredible conversion of an old Scout Hall in Ōakura, New Plymouth—and what a transformation!

The homeowners wanted to create a warmer, cosier feel while adding privacy to the open space, and Nettex Vevey was the perfect fabric choice. Paired with elegant sheers and curtains on double tracks, the result is soft, inviting and effortlessly stylish.

To complete the look, we added 20mm of pooling on the floor, creating a relaxed, luxurious finish that perfectly complements the character of this unique home.

Made from Sight by Zepel in the rich Truffle colour, they complement the home's warm timber detailing while adding softness and elegance to the space. The homeowner wanted to improve the warmth of the house without replacing the original single-glazed doors. Preserving the character and richness of the timber was important, so thermal-lined drapes provided the ideal solution, helping to reduce heat loss while enhancing the home's timeless charm.

Our client wanted to maintain the character of their home by showcasing the beautiful leadlight windows in the guest bedroom, while still creating privacy from nearby neighbours.

Another job with a slight twist ✨

We recently completed an install in a Fitzroy office featuring an angled window—something a little different!

The client wanted to soften the harsh sunlight and reduce glare, so we installed an unlined sheer using Verne by Nettex in the colour “Ash”. It filters the light beautifully while still keeping the space bright and functional.

We also installed a lined curtain wall in the same office—designed to help reduce noise when filming. A practical solution that improves both comfort and functionality.

Following on from the guest bedroom, here’s the main bedroom refresh in the same Bell Block home ✨

Starting with the before we had a readymade curtain on a wooden rod. While it did the job, the space was ready for a more polished, tailored look.

We repositioned the rod higher to enhance the room’s height and replaced the readymade with a custom-made single pleat drape, keeping the same colour the client loved. The result? A more refined, elegant finish that truly lifts the space.
