Getting excited.
Our new website is in its final stages to launch.
It has been a long process to prepare it, to select the products from such a wonderful collection of global designs.
Our brand is more than e-commerce, it is a social enterprise based in New Zealand.
Our purpose is to solve a problem. One of homelessness in New Zealand of women over the age of 50. They are the invisible ones. These women have raised families, given up jobs and missed career opportunities. For reasons not of their making, they find themselves without a home.
Tangentes Hom is a social enterprise, that will be built by the retail business. 10% of the sale of each product that you buy, will be placed in a Managed Trust, to build a community for these women.
Our guiding vision is to build apartments in a complex, that give each woman a place of her own, including bathroom, work space, kitchen and bedroom. We plan to have a business suite, training rooms, and communal spaces.
The enterprise is about giving these women a place to call home for a period of time, so they are able to re-establish themselves, find their new purpose, and to support them in their journey. Educate, uplift and support.
