As a company we use design process to solve problems with an emphasis on quality, sustainability, craftsmanship and with a flare for experimentation. We maintain a high level of transparency in how and where we produce goods, source materials and sell products. We focus on supporting those around us through what we do and aim to represent this in our product products that leave our workshop embody

We’re hiring 🛠️

Proffer is growing, and we need a Maker to join the workshop — running CNC routers, edge banding, sanding, oiling, and sending beautiful things out into the world.

No CNC experience needed. Just bring a love of making, comfort with computers, and an openness to trying new things — we develop a lot of our own ways of working, and we want someone keen to experiment alongside us.

Room to grow. New processes to learn. Living Wage guaranteed as a minimum.

After a hectic couple of months, it was lovely to take a moment last night to celebrate the expanded kids’ section we created at Unity Books Wellington

While so many book stores are struggling, it’s uplifting to see this Wellington institution expand its floor space for a new generation of readers (including George’s Frida, pictured here).

Make sure you go and check out the updated space and grab a book (or two) for the little people in your lives!

Our Champion St Champion.

A custom designed kitchen for, well, us. We chose to hero a few materials, in this case, walnut veneer cabinetry, stainless steel and the Japanese tiles.

Clean lines, high functionality and a focus on a space that would age gracefully and wear its scuffs and scrapes with pride.

The FOLD System is a combination of a few, thoughtfully chosen elements that work together to create a beautiful, flexible wall covering that offers not just storage, but a space to display the client’s collection of art, books and sculpture.
