As Welly Collective on Courtenay Place comes to a close at 2pm on Christmas Eve I’ve been feeling all the feelings.

Welly Collective had its first pack-in day in March 2020 (right at the beginning of a strange, uncertain time) and it became so much more than just a retail space. Courtenay Place was the very first Welly Collective shop, and without it, none of the others would exist.

I’ve been digging through old videos and found one from the first late night shopping in 2021 after we'd moved 2 doors up to a space triple the original size. Watching it back reminds me just how special this place has been.

I’m endlessly thankful to Libby & Hiro ,the two creators of Welly Collective. Honestly, without their belief, support, and sheer hard work, I don’t think SuperVery would exist in the way it does today. Being part of this collective has shaped my business and my confidence, and at times they’ve gone above and beyond to support me when I’ve faced health challenges.

I’ll miss this location deeply, for what it was, what it represented, and everything it made possible. Grateful beyond measure to have been part of its story.

The best part of re stocking is adding my little maker bio at each shop. This is in Courtenay Place which is closing on Christmas Eve. It’s The original Welly Collective shop , opened in March 2020 and my little business wouldn’t exist without it because my CFS has made in person markets impossible, i’m going to miss it , but hopefully we’ll be back there when it reopens .
