Good morning everyone.

Appreciation Post

I almost forgot- Just wanted to pop on here to say a huge Thank You to JJ Creative whanau for again bringing "my" concept to life.
It was not my idea but something that I saw "on da line" that can be super handy for when I am getting garments ready for embroidery- might pop a video on here next week of how they are intended to be used.

Ok whanau - I have made some changes to my website and added a few more categories that I will be exploring in the coming weeks.

I will be away until early next week- as my daughter will be having minor surgery in Cambridge.

I had a wonderful weekend- hope you did too.

Apart from it being a busy weekend with family birthdays - I also received 2 embroidery request- 2 new clients and I am very grateful.

The orders have been delivered and both clients were very happy with the results.

Applique Testing
Practice makes progress- Applique has quite a few steps - placement stitch then tack down (the sequence) then you use Applique scissors to trim very carefully around the letters without cutting the stitching. Then the machine finishes off with the beautiful satin stitch 🩷

Something a little different today.
Back to my roots of sewing bags.

We have some twin visitors nearly 3 years old. They loved the Bag I made for their mum last year.

So time for the girls to have their own bag.

Some of today's makes.

Testing more designs - Christmas Tree ornaments.

They are absolutely beautiful- unlike garment embroidery- FSL Embroidery the back is just as beautiful as the front.

These ornaments still need to be cleaned up with warm water.
