🔥This lovely client had an existing Jetmaster fireplace with a traditional wood burner in the lounge of her B&B-but was ready to say ciao to chopping, storing firewood, & cleaning out ash 🪵

After chatting through her vision for an ornate gas fire that still delivers great heat, we measured up the firebox & had a custom LPG Insert Burner manufactured to perfectly fit the existing Jetmaster box 👌🏽

We’re incredibly proud to have been part of this stunning home at 91 Leeward Drive, Whitianga, which took home a Gold Medal at the Master Builder House of the Year Awards 2025, was named a Regional Category Winner, and placed in the Top 100 homes in New Zealand. What an achievement!

This beautiful home was designed by the talented Hayley Peterson from Peterson Design + Build, & it was an absolute pleasure working alongside Hayley on this project. She made the whole process easy, collaborative, and enjoyable from start to finish.

The outdoor entertaining area is finished perfectly with one of our flue-less outdoor gas fires — adding warmth, atmosphere, & that inviting glow that brings people together.

We’ve levelled up! Along with selling and installing fires, Cosy Fires now offers full servicing for fires and appliances too — because keeping your place warm and safe is kind of our thing.

👉 Some insurance policies actually require annual servicing of gas appliances — and wood fire flues/chimneys? Yep, they need a yearly sweep too (no one likes a smoky lounge).

So whether it’s:

*A gas or wood fire
*An instantaneous hot water system
*A bayonet point, gas line or LPG cylinder
…we can take care of it.

Plus, we do:
✅ Chimney sweeps (yep, we’ve got brushes – and the skills)
✅ Firebrick replacements
✅ Repairs on existing gas or woodburning fires
✅ New baffle plates + replacement doors for wood fires
