On the bench right now.. two hooks shaping up so well.
Looking forward to being back at the Whanganui River Markets tomorrow.
I've been working in the studio to bring more affordable carvings and a range of high quality carvings with beautiful finishes and curves you can't look away from.
Men can show strength with bold styles.
Woman can show beauty and composure with elegance and detail.
Kids can dream big with carvings that show their value and potential.
What ever you need, think of me for gifts or for something more personal come to me with your own ideas.
Bring carvings for Re-stringing too!! Don't leave them to sit in draws or bags.. I can make them look amazing again.

Might not be a great weekend to be around people. Taking a few days off to recover.
Missing the Whanganui River Markets tomorrow too unfortunately. Ill be back next weekend with some new carvings and I've also been working on some great low cost for those of you on a smaller budget. Look out for those or message if you're interested. Great for the kids!

Out enjoying the Awa with some handtools. Points if you guess who is my inspiration for this hairpin made from Antler.

Triple Koru bonecarving.
$350.
Made from cast Red deer Antler.
This piece has come up beautifully.
At 43mm across, it's a great size to stand out.
Some careful work has paid off making something that will make the wearer feel connected and balanced.
The new camera is showing some details and shine you can only normally see in person.

I feel the goal of carving is to make anything and everything that a carver should be able to make. I'm putting myself through my own apprenticeship so to speak.
This triple koru has been made in many cultures in slightly different ways and is a great challenge with an Antler button.

Looking forward to the Whanganui River Markets this Saturday. Maybe ill see you there.
