A sweet little guest room makeover 🌿

This room didn’t need a complete overhaul, it just needed a little more thought.

We simplified the furniture, added a custom upholstered headboard and floating bedside tables, and introduced beautiful new curtains that really became the starting point for the whole scheme.

Layers of soft green, dusty pink, natural linen and a little pattern have made it feel warmer, calmer and much more inviting.

A lovely reminder that sometimes a few carefully considered changes are all a room needs to feel completely different.

Maybe this is where it all started.
Not with a love of interiors, but with a love of feeling at home.
As adults, we often think our homes need to be practical, functional and sensible.
But I think they should also make room for joy.
For colour that makes you smile.
For objects you love.
For spaces that feel safe, comforting and uniquely yours.
Because when a home is designed well, it doesn’t just support the person you’ve become.
It nurtures the child you once were too. ✨

Three homes. Three completely different personalities.

One thing people are often surprised by is how different my projects look from one another.

That’s because I’m not trying to create homes that look like my style, I’m trying to create homes that feel like your style.

These three spaces are a perfect example.

One is soft and calming, with gentle greens and layers of texture.

One is full of colour, pattern and personality.

One is more pared back, relying on contrast, texture and a few carefully chosen pieces to make an impact.

Completely different looks for completely different clients. When I first meet with clients, I’m looking for clues. What they’re naturally drawn to, how they live, what they already love. What they want their home to feel like.

The common thread isn’t a particular colour palette or design style. It’s that each home feels authentic to the people living there. Because my goal is to create a home that feels like you❤️

But just a gentle reminder—at Anna Grace Design, colour is always where we’re at ✨

Even in a calm, layered space like this, it’s the subtle moments of colour that bring it to life. The soft greens, the hint of blush, the mix of tones that keep everything feeling fresh, personal, and just a little bit unexpected.

It’s never about going over the top. It’s about using colour in a way that feels effortless and completely you.

There’s something about the contrast between the soft, organic form and that simple globe. These pieces are sculptural, but still beautifully calm.

Perfect in a hallway, powder room, or beside a bed where you want something a little more considered.

I’d keep the palette tonal and layered, and let this be the quiet point of interest.

This is something I don’t take lightly. The idea that you can get a feel for my style, my approach, and the way I use colour just by looking through past projects means everything.

Because it’s not just about creating beautiful spaces. It’s about helping you feel confident to go a little further than you might on your own, in a way that still feels completely like you.

It’s the craftsmanship and detail for me. The gentle curves, the woven texture, all working together to create something that feels both relaxed and considered.

A unique piece that can subtly blend in, or be the star of the show!

Perfect in a bedroom corner, sunroom, or anywhere you want to bring in a softer, natural layer.

A little about me…

The short version (the longer version involves way too much info and at least one Negroni).

• I’m never judging your space, but I probably am mentally rearranging it just a little

• I don’t rush travel… I’m there for the wandering, the food, and quite a lot of lying on the beach.

• Beaches are for lying on - give me a long walk in the bush any day!

• I trust my gut on people, spaces, and most things in between.

• I truely believe night out with live music and a dance is the best therapy (be warned, I'm pretty specific in my music tastes!)
