My Ocean Botanica collection needed a Summer boost for those of you warming up in the northern hemisphere!
This definitely took me out of my muted colour comfort zone.
I think it would look super cute on little bodysuits, bedding and on wallpapers in a nursery or playroom 🧡

My design is inspired by the beautiful shapes of corals.
I kept the mood calm with a colour palette of coastal blues and bleached driftwood whites and beiges.
There is a subtle texture in the background for extra depth and a boho vibe. 🌊

I was really moved and inspired to see the work done to restore reefs by the Coral Gardeners
I have gifted some baby coral adoptions but don't have my own yet. I love how you can watch your coral grow in real time too.

I'm so happy to live by the ocean now and projects like these give me hope for the future 🙏

Thank you for the support, encouragement and friendship this year.
There has been too much loss but also so much thankfulness and appreciation of what I do have and many precious memories.

Big changes are ahead in 2026 as we move South to Ōtepoti Dunedin 🥶🐧🦭 and I experience an empty nest 😢

It's a daunting prospect leaving our friends and community where we have been settled for 5 years but it's time for new adventures.

🐕I will be kept busy with a super exciting project coming up which I can't wait to get into! 🤫

My entry for .coil design contest.
This design has been a labour of love and it would be a incredible to see it on a planner.

I fell in love with the chatty pīwakawaka (fantail) when I moved to Aotearoa New Zealand. They are my friendly companions on my daily walks 🥰
