Just sharing my beautiful patch of Jewelweed I’ve been growing for years! They weren’t here at all, until I did a little seed collecting at a few parks along the walking trails. It’s been at least 20 years now. The deer hasn’t gotten to them yet!

With delicate orange and golden blossoms and curious seed pods that burst open at the slightest touch, this humble plant has long held a place in traditional summertime apothecaries.

Our Jewelweed Salve is a handcrafted herbal preparation created in small batches using slowly infused olive oil and carefully selected ingredients chosen for a smooth, nourishing finish. Rich yet fast-absorbing, this salve glides easily onto the skin without a heavy or overly greasy feel, making it a welcome companion for gardeners, hikers, campers, and anyone spending long hours outdoors.

Finished with Tea Tree Essential Oil and Vitamin E Oil, this seasonal salve is designed to earn its place among your warm-weather herbal staples.

Botanical Ingredients

Olive Oil infused with Jewelweed (Impatiens capensis), Beeswax (Cera alba), Tea Tree Essential Oil (Melaleuca alternifolia), Vitamin E Oil (Tocopherol)

Traditional Use

Traditionally kept on hand during the warmer months for skin exposed to poison ivy, poison oak, poison sumac, bug bites, and other outdoor plant irritations.

Seasonal Apothecary Notes

This salve is crafted with natural oils and beeswax and may soften or melt during warm-weather shipping. If melting occurs, allow the tin to rest upright in a cool place until firm again.

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and excessive heat.

For external use only. Discontinue use if irritation occurs or if allergic to any listed ingredients.
