Pizza Pasta Casserole 🍕🍝🧀✨
Cheesy, hearty, and loaded with classic pizza flavors.
Ingredients:
• 1 1/4 lbs ground beef
• 1 1/4 lbs ground sausage
• 1 onion, chopped
• 1 tsp parsley
• 1 clove garlic, minced
• 8 oz tomato paste
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1/4 tsp black pepper
• 1/8 tsp oregano
• 2 cups hot water
• 3–4 cups rotini pasta
• 1 package pepperoni
• Mozzarella and provolone cheese
• Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
1.Brown beef, sausage, half the onion, parsley, and garlic in a skillet.
2.Stir in tomato paste, salt, pepper, oregano, and hot water.
3.Simmer about 1 1/2 hours and skim excess grease.
4.Cook rotini pasta until al dente and drain.
5.Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a baking dish.
6.Combine pasta with meat sauce in the baking dish.
7.Top with remaining onion and pepperoni slices.
8.Cover generously with mozzarella and provolone cheese.
9.Add extra pepperoni and sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.
10.Bake until cheese is melted and bubbly.
11.Let cool slightly before serving.
