Monolithic Stone Sculpture Base

A massive natural stone block selected at a quarry in Romblon and fabricated in our studio as a base for an important sculpture. The block was shaped and substantially hollowed while retaining the natural character of the original stone.

Reducing the weight allowed the completed base to be mounted on concealed wheels, enabling the sculpture to be repositioned when required.

Del-Marco. Specialist stonework since 1986.

Word is finally gettinig out to genral public about this "not needed product". Quartz slabs are banned in Australia and under increasing watch in countries that care about worker health.

Dangerous in fabrication but not final in use.....

Nearly 600 California workers developed silicosis from cutting quartz countertops, which release harmful silica dust. The disease has no cure and has led to 65 lung transplants and 31 deaths among affected workers.
