'COMMUNITY PAN-TREE' 🌳

LOOK: Inspired by community pantries that started sprouting across the country, DENR National Capital Region will set up its own Community Pan-TREE and give away seedlings of fruit-bearing trees and vegetables to those in need. Individuals, groups may donate plants in support of the project.

The Community Pan-Tree will open on Thursday, April 22, from 9 AM to 3 PM at the DENR-NCR Technical Services Office in North Avenue, Diliman, Quezon City. People can pick up seedlings there. There are plans to expand the project to other areas where it has a field office.

The DENR-NCR said the Community Pan-TREE was its humble contribution to efforts addressing the issue of food security in the region and the promotion of resiliency in the community amid the pandemic and changing climate."Magtanim ayon sa kakayahan.
