Project Pulagid

On a quiet morning in Badihoy (Baguio City), a kid woke up to the sound that was coming from their tiny kitchen. He saw that it was his Mom making the noises with the pan and the wooden spoon as she was mixing something. โ€œInya ngay dayta ilutlutom Mama?โ€ (What are you cooking there Mom?) โ€œMani daytuy, santu mapan ta tun ipagiling damdama.โ€ (These are peanuts, and weโ€™ll have them ground later.) Project Pulagid started with the conversation written above, a child who got addicted to what their Mom made for them - Peanut Butter. It was the best peanut butter that kid had ever tasted. Without bread or biscuit, he would scoop on the peanut butter jar with a huge spoon and would nibble on it. The kid grew up believing that the peanut butter, her mom makes, shouldnโ€™t just be enjoyed by them. He wanted to spread it to others too, like how you spread the peanut butter evenly to all edges of the bread you are about to feast on. Will you spread it too?
