🎨 I've never (and maybe until today) coined myself as an artist. just a person who loves art and learning facets. painting, sketching and drawing.. but today.. i wanna be brave and show people that art js for everyone, perfection not needed imperfections welcomed.

✨ The past few months have been such a beautiful journey, and one I’d love to share with you. 🌸

When I first changed my page name to Kraftyy, my vision was to make it a space for all sorts of arts and crafts. For a while though, it mostly lived as a crochet corner—filled with yarn, hooks, and handmade pieces that I poured my heart into. 🧶

But this year has felt like a breakthrough for me. I’ve grown more comfortable sharing my art in different forms, and I’ve also discovered a new love: junk journaling.

✨ It has opened up a whole new world of creativity and storytelling, one that continues to surprise and inspire me.
I’m deeply grateful for all the connections we’ve woven, the stories we’ve shared, and the community we’ve built together.

Becoming one of the facilitators for .baguio has been such a meaningful realization—reminding me that art is not only about rediscovery, but also about creating a safe, welcoming space where others can find themselves too. 🌿

Thank you, truly, for being part of this journey. Your support, presence, and kindness have made every stitch, page, and story all the more meaningful. 🩷

✨ One person’s kalat is another person’s keepsake! Turning scraps, tags, clean food packages, receipts, parking stubs — or just about anything — into pages that tell a story. 🧷📒

Why junk journaling? Here’s a little back story:
‘Twas one stressful work night during a mid-shift break. I was trying to find a way to destress before going back to the latter part of my shift, but I was too tired to write anything or even process the stress. I just knew I needed to do something — anything.

Then I stumbled upon a junk journaling and decided to give it a try. Needless to say, I’ve been trying to do it consistently ever since. ✂️✨ It’s become one of my favorite ways to unwind — paggupit, pagdikit, at pagtagpi.🤪

👨‍🎨🎨🖌️ To all our amazing artists, supportive parents, and kind hearts who joined us on a sunday foggy afternoon for making our Little Hands Big Art Workshop for a Cause a beautiful success! 💖

🖌️🎨 Each brushstroke, each scribble created an amazing masterpiece that afternoon. Together, we just didn’t make beautiful art but we have also made a difference in our community. Your little ones will bring hope and help to our Pediatric Cancer warriors. 🫶🏻✨

👋 🎨 Your little hands and big hearts turned a simple rainy afternoon into a core memory of colors, giggles, and kindness. We can’t wait to create more art and share more smiles with you soon!

The granny square dates back to the Victorian era (mid-1800s), originally as a clever way to use up leftover yarn scraps. 🌈 It became popular for its modular design — small squares that could be joined into blankets, garments, and etc. By the 1970s, granny squares became a symbol of boho and hippie fashion ,bringing bold colors and a DIY spirit ✌️🌼 Today, it's a timeless classic loved by crafters around the world — blending nostalgia, creativity, and sustainability in every stitched 🪡
