There is fear in letting go;
we try as much to hold on to anything such as love,
or promises that were once whispered in our ears,
or even hate and anger towards another,
resentment for the things we wish we would have done,
or plans for the future which we hold dearly,
or anything that pushes our feet to take one more step.
But it's the game of life,
where up is just as confusing as down,
or left to right,
but there is joy in playing with our stupidity,
