A the very beginning of this project lies David Aeneas Giger's fascination for the beauty of age and imperfection. His belief that real beauty needs time to grow, that character is shaped over time by edges and flaws, grew stronger with every photo he took on his camera. But around the year 2010 he realised that these marks of time which defined beauty to him were also found on walls. And what he

found since then in hundreds of different places and more than 20 countries all over the world is definitely proof that he was not completely wrong in his belief...
That's why this project has primarily one goal: To bring some of the imperfect beauty and the appreciation of age into your home. But there's more behind this project than this. The colorful artworks are also meant to stimulate your positive thinking and to remind you that modesty is a safe step towards happiness. Because beauty does not have to be brand new, fresh painted or extremely expensive. Beauty can be found almost anywhere. Sometimes in the dirtiest corner of a poor city. Sometimes on a wall full of bird droppings. And sometimes even on trash cans...
