𝗔𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗘𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶 𝗣𝗮𝗴𝗯𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗱 𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗕𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴

Kapag malinaw sa progress report na may valid at due na progress billing, pero hindi pa rin ito nababayaran, hindi lang contractor ang naaapektuhan—buong proyekto ang nadadamay.

1. 𝗛𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗮𝗸𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗴𝗽𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗵𝗼𝗱 𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗮𝗮𝘆𝗼𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿.
Ang mga manggagawa ang unang tinatamaan. Kapag delayed ang sahod, bumababa ang morale at productivity.

2. 𝗛𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶 𝗺𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗿𝘀.

Nasasira ang tiwala at relasyon ng contractor sa suppliers. Sa huli, nagiging cash basis ang materials o tuluyang humihinto ang deliveries.

3. 𝗡𝗮𝗴𝗸𝗮𝗸𝗮𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗻 𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘆𝘀.
Walang pondo para sa materials, equipment, at manpower—kaya tumitigil o bumabagal ang critical works.

4. 𝗡𝗮𝗮𝗮𝗽𝗲𝗸𝘁𝘂𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗵𝗼.
Kapag gipit sa cash flow, napipilitang mag-adjust sa resources, na may direktang epekto sa kalidad at kaligtasan sa site.

5. 𝗡𝗮𝗴𝗸𝗮𝗸𝗮𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗻 𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝘁 𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗲𝘀.
Delay claims, disputes, at posibleng termination ng kontrata ang nagiging resulta ng hindi tamang cash flow.

6. 𝗡𝗮𝘀𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗿𝗮 𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗸𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗮𝗱 𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘆𝗲𝗸𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝘁 𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗴𝗮 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗲𝗱.
Contractor, suppliers, at kahit ang project mismo ay nagkakaroon ng masamang reputasyon sa industriya.

At klaro lang dapat ito:

𝗛𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶 𝗱𝗮𝗽𝗮𝘁 𝗻𝗮𝗴-𝗮𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗻𝗼 𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿.

Kung mag-aabono lang din siya para tumakbo ang proyekto, hindi na sana siya nag-contractor. Ang construction ay isang 𝗻𝗲𝗴𝗼𝘀𝘆𝗼, hindi charity. Ang papel ng contractor ay mag-manage at magtayo—hindi magpautang ng kapital sa project.

Kung aabono rin lang, sana nagtayo na lang ng hardware—kaliwaan pa ang kita.

Ang progress billing ay bayad sa 𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗮𝘄𝗮 𝗻𝗮, documented at justified. Kapag hindi ito binayaran sa tamang oras, ang epekto ay isang 𝗱𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁 na kayang pahintuin at pabagsakin ang buong proyekto.
