2025 kept us fully booked—with multiple design projects, 3 major constructions, and several smaller builds. And 2026? We’ve been quietly working behind the scenes—planning, designing, and preparing projects set to rise mid-year.

As we mark the completion of 1,200 hours of on-the-job training, we proudly celebrate the journey of our OJTs as they conclude their training.

Throughout their time with us, they were immersed in real-world architectural practice—engaging in drafting works and participating in live construction projects. From site visits to design development, technical drawings, building permit processing, and actual construction, they experienced the full cycle of the profession. They contributed to several projects, including a two-storey boarding house, a one-storey with mezzanine residential renovation, and a two-storey residential renovation and expansion. They also assisted in detailed drawings for gate and fencing, residential projects, and more, while showcasing their creativity through 3D perspectives and architectural photo and video rendering.

Their journey culminated in a final project, where they developed conceptual designs and studies for two actual projects handled by the firm—reflecting both their growth and learning.

As they complete their training, we extend our gratitude for their contributions. Their efforts have supported the firm in delivering projects and have become part of our shared growth.

At Hygge Architecture + Design Studio, we believe in giving back and paying it forward. Each project is an opportunity not only to design and build, but also to mentor aspiring architects. While teaching is challenging, it is equally rewarding—to witness young talents grow and to learn from them in return.

We look forward to continuing this cycle of mentorship.

Our sincere thanks to Jun R. Beberino, Noreen Love D. Bulabog, and Surigao del Norte State University for entrusting us as your training provider. Wherever your paths may lead, we hope we have made a meaningful mark on your journey toward the profession.

Y Residence | Small Footprint, Maximized Potential.

This 46sqm Ezabelle unit was upgraded with a rear kitchen extension and protective front and side canopies, optimizing both livability and long-term rental value.

Inside, the approach remained simple and intentional — retaining the original sink placement, extending the counter into a compact bar, and introducing a subtle pop of blue to bring warmth and personality into the space.

Because even rental homes deserve a sense of comfort — where functionality meets quiet, everyday living.

Congratulations to our January 2026 Architecture Licensure Examinations (ALE) Passers!

The USC Architecture Program produced 27 passers. Nationwide, 1,998 out of 2,433 (82.12%) examinees passed.
