Looking through my camera roll from January until now, I realized how many little and big things Iโ€™ve already had to thank Gesรบ for. ๐Ÿฅน

Some were answered prayers. Some were unexpected gifts. Some were moments I almost forgot to be grateful for because they looked so ordinary. And maybe thatโ€™s what makes them miracles too. Not everything had to be grand. Sometimes, a miracle was simply having something to smile about. Being given an opportunity. Finishing something I thought I couldnโ€™t. Creating again. Finding beauty in an ordinary day. Having another reason to hope. I still believe God can do the big miracles I continue to pray for. But looking back at these little pieces of 2026, Iโ€™m reminded that He has already given me so many reasons to say,

Thank You, Gesรบ. ๐Ÿค

Maybe the miracle isnโ€™t that one day Iโ€™ll wake up and all my 4 autoimmune diseases, 1 chronic pain illness, 1 blood disorder and 1 mood disorder are all gone.

I still believe God can do heal all these.

But, maybe, the miracle is despite all these, my heart never grows tired of growing, hoping and believing

that miracles do exist๐Ÿฅน

If youโ€™ve been here for a while, you probably know me as the person behind ASH Studios. But before all of that, Iโ€™ve never really liked putting myself inside just one box. Iโ€™m someone whoโ€™s always juggling different roles, passions, and pieces of myself. And somehow, all of those parts found their way into my art.

Lately, Iโ€™ve been thinking a lot about the artist in me. Not just the one who creates, but the one who notices.

Iโ€™ve always been fascinated by the little things that most people would easily pass by. The stories hidden behind ordinary moments. The meaning behind symbols. The beauty of things that arenโ€™t loud enough to ask for attention.

I think thatโ€™s why creating has always felt so natural to me. Itโ€™s how I express what I notice, what I wonder about, what I believe in, and what Iโ€™m still learning about myself. And, maybe thatโ€™s what being an artist has always meant to me.

And somehow, in the process of creating, I find pieces of myself too.

Iโ€™ve been working on this reel for quiet some time now, and while editing it, napaisip lang ako.

What is ASH Studios, really?

I could say itโ€™s my small business. Or that itโ€™s where I make art and creative things.

But I think itโ€™s more of the place where all the parts of me finally came together.

The artist.
The storyteller.
The dreamer.
The Soul who continues to heal.

Maybe thatโ€™s what ASH Studios has always been.

If not arts and crafts materials, microphone ang hawak ko.

Napaisip lang ako while looking at these photos.

Noong bata pa ako, I would hold the microphone to deliver speeches, join Draw and Tell competitions, magmakata, at magsalita sa harap ng maraming tao. Hindi ko naman alam noon kung saan ako dadalhin noon. I just knew I enjoyed using my voice.

Years later, Iโ€™m still holding the microphone, but now, itโ€™s to facilitate programs and recollections, host events, conduct orientations, share reflections, encourage others, and hopefully create spaces where people feel seen and heard.

Maybe some dreams donโ€™t disappear. They simply grow with us.

I still hope that one day, God will allow me to use this voice beyond stages and ceremonies, not just to speak, but to inspire hope, remind people they are not alone, and gently point hearts back to what is true, good, and beautiful.

The microphone may have changed through the years, but I think the calling has remained the same.

Little Ash, I think weโ€™re becoming the person you quietly dreamed of. ๐ŸŽค

A Story you can carry on a Tote Bag

What if your memories werenโ€™t just kept in your camera rollโ€ฆ but became something you could carry every day?

Ito ang isa sa mga favorite kong commissions so far. ๐Ÿฅน

Before I paint, I ask my clients to tell me their story.

Ano yung favorite nโ€™yong pagkain?
Saan kayo madalas pumunta?
Anong moments ang gusto nโ€™yong balikan years from now?

Then I turn those little details into a hand-painted piece, one symbol at a time.

Kaya kung tititigan mo โ€™tong tote, hindi lang siya cute painting.

Itโ€™s their story.

Nung natanggap nila, they sent me this video and honestlyโ€ฆ napangiti rin ako. ๐Ÿฅน๐Ÿค

โ€œThank you, ASH Studios! The art, the details, the effort, the inclusionsโ€ฆ I loved it so much!โ€

This is exactly why I started Healing Offerings.

Hindi lang para gumawa ng art.

Kundi para gumawa ng pieces na pwedeng balikan kapag gusto mong maalala ang isang tao, isang season ng buhay, o isang memory na ayaw mong makalimutan.

If you have a story worth remembering, Iโ€™d be honored to paint it. ๐Ÿค

Message me with your story. Iโ€™ll paint the rest.

Perhaps God didnโ€™t waste my pain because He intended to use it to become someone elseโ€™s hope

Itโ€™s been three years since I was diagnosed with multiple autoimmune diseases, alongside two other illnesses. Three years of medications, hospital visits, financial burdens, unanswered prayers, and learning to live with a body that no longer works the way it used to.

Truthfully, though, my story of pain didnโ€™t begin there.

It has been a lifetime of carrying wounds, trauma, disappointments, and scars that shaped much of who I am.

There were days when life felt unbearably heavy.

Days when I cried until there were no tears left.

Days when hope felt distant.

Days when I wanted everything to stop.

Pain has always been part of my story.

And yes, suffering is real.

Especially when the wound is still fresh.

Especially when the loss has just happened.

Especially when the diagnosis changes your future.

No one should ever feel guilty for suffering.

But over the years, God has slowly been teaching me something.

I cannot always choose whether pain comes.

I cannot choose every illness, every loss, every betrayal, or every storm.

But little by little, I can choose what I surrender to God.

I can choose not to let pain have the final word.

I can choose to keep loving.

To keep forgiving.

To keep hoping.

To keep standing back up, even if I have to crawl first.

Perhaps that is what people mean when they say,

โ€œPain is inevitable. Suffering is optional.โ€

Not that our suffering isnโ€™t real.

Not that healing should be rushed.

Not that faith erases grief.

But that pain does not have to become our permanent identity.

Our wounds may remain.

Yet Christ can transform them into places where His light enters.

Today, I still carry illnesses.

I still carry debts.

I still carry unanswered questions.

Some wounds are still healing.

Some battles are still being fought.

But I also carry hope.

Because if God can use my brokenness to comfort even one weary soul, then none of it is wasted.

Maybeโ€ฆ

The deepest wounds often become the brightest windows through which Godโ€™s light reaches someone else.
