What is TEMPERED GLASS?

Tempered Glass is made of regular, annealed glass which undergoes a thermal tempering process that increases its strength and changes its composition which makes it shatter differently. The process of extreme heating (a thousand Fahrenheit) and rapid cooling (using high-pressure air blasts), makes tempered glass much harder and stronger than regular glass.
