Hello there, crochet lover! (σ≧▽≦)σ
Crochet items can be quite stubborn sometimes. Therefore, Loopsiz is delightfully happy to share these tips for both crocheters and customers out there!
• Know the fiber labels. Some fibers are too risky to be machine- washed.
• Spot clean before dousing the entire item with a pretreatment solution.
• Handwash and line dry your items to avoid pilling and stretching.
note : Avoid stretching the items when it is wet from the laundry, especially hanging it. you can use laundry rack or any flat surface.
• Dry your crocheted items on the lowest heat setting possible and do not put it directly under the sun.
• Use a mesh laundry bag to prevent from snags.
• It must not be ironed as much as possible. However, some items can be quite stubborn and wrinkled, so be sure to use the lowest
heat setting possible (acrylics could melt at high temperatures)
• Before you store any crochet items, make sure it is dry. Moisture that is left in the fibers will cause problems like mildew. Also, a zippy bags works well. (you can put a hole on the zip bag to let the items breath. )
Hope these helps! ♡(∩o∩)♡
