What opportunities could be missed without digital skills?
๐ค Imagine having a good product, but not knowing how to show it online.
๐ค Imagine having customers who could find youโbut not knowing how to reach them.
๐ค Or having the opportunity to grow your business beyond your community, but not knowing which digital tools could help you get there.
For women with disabilities in Tawi-Tawi, these are some of the opportunities that digital skills can help unlock.
Through a two-day digital skills workshop, Accelerate Bangsamoro partnered with DICT Tawi-Tawi at the Digital Transformation Center in Bongao to help participants build practical skills in:
๐ฑ Digital & Social Media Marketing โ creating content and managing online platforms
๐ Online Tools โ reaching more customers and expanding market opportunities
๐ Business Growth โ building confidence to take their enterprises further online
Because digital inclusion is not simply about learning technology. It is about making sure more women have the knowledge and confidence to participate, connect, and grow.
Our thanks to DICT Tawi-Tawi, especially our trainers Mr. Aidan Shamir Salik, ILCD Provincial Focal, and Ms. Sharajane Abdon, CSB/PKI Provincial Focal, for helping make these opportunities possible.
When women gain digital skills, more doors can open. And when more doors open, businesses and communities can grow. ๐
