Monet painted his water lilies over and over again, chasing the way light changed and the feelings it carried. Unconsciously, I think I’ve been doing the same—returning to the same pond, the same strokes, trying things until life feels right again.

Like the lilies, I’ve learned that beautiful things can grow from murky waters. And on the darker days, I find a kind of peace in my little basement studio, where paint becomes comfort and the pond becomes a reminder that healing doesn’t happen all at once—it blooms slowly, one layer, one brush stroke at a time. 🌿🪷

This third collection gathers my blue-toned paintings from 2021–2025 — works shaped by quietness, longing, movement, healing, and the many shades of change. Each piece was created during different seasons of chaos, growth, stillness, and becoming.

my first commission of the year and i actually painted this pond twice before letting it go 💕

Kois move gently beneath still water—quiet, steady, resilient. They remind me that peace doesn’t mean standing still; it can look like soft, continuous motion… like choosing to begin again without fear.

here's a reminder for me that starting over isn’t something to dread and failures are something worth celebrating because this is where real growth happens, where intention deepens, where you learn to trust your own strokes a little more.
