CRIGO successfully completed the 17 Technical Training Hours of Office of Civil Defense VI - Blended Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Course for Private Sector held on June 4-7, 2024, obtained the knowledge and attitude that are essential when it comes to promoting and implementing DRRM in our organization and the community.

Last year, Crigo started utilizing bamboo weave as a material for its native bags. Now, it is making bamboo and abaca weave as its TRADEMARK for its bags. These fashionable native bags are now available EXCLUSIVELY at the newly relaunched DTI-OTOP Lifestyle Hub, a new and bigger location at 2nd Floor, Ayala Malls Capitol Central, Bacolod City.

This 100% genuine leather necklace is inspired from Rafflesia speciosa, a threatened endo-holoparasitic species. It has several populations in the Central Panay Mountain Range (CPMR) of Panay island where it was first discovered and a single population on Negros Island specifically in Mount Kanlaon Natural Park (MKNP), thus far.

The first discovery in the island of Negros was recorded in 2008 in the Bago City side of MKNP and it has been found thriving in another location within the MKNP in a barangay in La Castellana town in 2017.

This intricate handcrafted jewelry is a representation of how rich Negros Island's wildlife is. Ini isa sa madamo pa nga mahalad sang Negros and Crigo will always use its natural treasures as inspiration for all of its crafts.
