Look at this elegant little genius! I'm so excited to share my latest project: a crochet chibi doll of Ruan Mei, member #81 of the Genius Society. 🧪❄️

A huge thank you to .crochet for letting me pattern test this adorable design. It was a joy to bring this hermit genius to life with yarn! 🥰🫶🏻

A little about the character:
Ruan Mei is an expert in life sciences whose achievements resonate throughout the universe. Despite her low-profile, her beautiful appearance is hard to miss with her elegant qipao and signature DNA-inspired hairpin. As a hermit genius, she rarely socializes, but she has a soft spot for life's finer things—including satin, music, cakes, embroidery, and tea. She teamed up with Herta and others to develop the Simulated Universe, making her a mysterious but pivotal figure in the cosmos.
