What makes the local Gingoog iconic?
Hi, I made a shirt that tells the story of Gingoog City. Every detail comes from real scenes, old Spanish-era houses, modernized first floors, the sari-sari store, the fruit stand, the parol, the coffee cart, the scooter, the plants, the mango tree, the aircon box, the iconic post, and of course, the askal that completes the neighborhood.

IT'S THE MOST WONDERFULL TIME OF THE YEAR!
𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐫? 👀

The word “𝒘𝒐𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒇𝒖𝒍𝒍” — with two L’s — isn’t actually wrong. It’s an 𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗰 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 from the 𝟭𝟲𝘁𝗵–𝟭𝟳𝘁𝗵 𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 meaning “𝒇𝒖𝒍𝒍 𝒐𝒇 𝒘𝒐𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓.” Back then, English words ending in “-full” often kept both L’s. Over time, spelling became standardized, and it was simplified to “wonderful.”

But the older form still carries that 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐜, 𝐩𝐨𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐦 — like something straight out of an old Christmas card.

So yes, it’s the most wonderfull time of the year — not just for the lights and gifts, but for 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 that warm the season even more. ❤️🎁
