many of my projects have undergone the process of trial-and-error before judged (by me, syempre) as marketable and aesthetically sound, which is why i’ve had my share of looking for the perfect raw materials.

my sablay keychains are made of mercerized 100% cotton yarn in 3 ply, which is a mouthful for y’all non-krowsheyers, but def the best for a right-sized anik-anik.

pero the real ones know how far we’ve come. like the handwritten thank you cards from scratch papers, and the makeshift pouches made out of magazine pages and upcycled kraft bags 🫶🏽

shoutout to SubChroma for helping us in our logo rebranding! aside from the new stickers, we’ve also invested in our packaging para beautiful man ah 😌

Made 35 special edition aster bookmarks in collaboration with GOT7 Iloilo for IKIGAI: A Reason for Being, a Mark, Jinyoung and Youngjae Birthday Donation Drive for tricycle and pedicab drivers in Iloilo City ✨

When I said last year that this is my passion project, I am continuously fueled by people who channel my craft into purpose and gratitude. I am always appreciative when I take part in efforts like this, kahit nangangapa na sometimes.

When others do not speak about their problems, it doesn’t mean that they do not have any or that they do not try to open up. Believe me, they do. They want to, but they cannot easily.

As we celebrate today, let us continue to break the stigma of mental health problems. Every day is a silent battle, and everyone fights a unique fight. We believe we know what others go through, but we never truly do.

We can, however, be there for them. To comfort, to listen, to just be. And it will be enough just to be felt and be safe. Because some battles do not need mouths to judge; some need ears to listen and hearts to understand.

Be kind to anyone. Maybe it's all they needed at the moment.
