Will still push through with PotA Baguio! β¨π Pls support us there! Lablab! β¨π
We want to acknowledge and apologize for how things have gone.
We are sorry for all the hurt feelings, distress, broken trust, and for letting things spiral.
Communication and connection are very important to us as we strive for a collaborative relationship with the artists.
However, we have not been as present nor communicative as needed.
We understand that the lack of ill intent does not excuse our actions or lack thereof, nor the outcome of our actions and inactions.
We put systems into place to make information accessible and organized but we, ourselves, failed to utilize these systems, keeping artists lacking the information and support that we promised to deliver in a timely and efficient manner.
To make things worse, the system developed was one-way and lacked the capacity to receive and address concerns, questions, and clarifications the artists wanted and needed addressed.
To address the worst of our shortcomings, we acknowledge and apologize as well for our central role in the Baguio Summer venue concerns. It was our failure to take the necessary precautions to protect the livelihood of artists by ensuring the foundations of our plans were uncompromisable.
Regarding Baguio Summer, it will be pushing through and happening at Newtown Plaza Hotel on May 17, 2026 (Sunday). All artists that are part of Baguio Summer are entitled to a full refund if they opt to back out of the event or a 50% refund if they choose to continue with the now 1-day event. We will be quadrupling our efforts and advertising budget to ensure the best possible dissemination of information regarding the changes.
Our efforts to scale our team and operations have significantly backfired and have led us astray from our vision and purpose.
Moving forward, we will be keeping communication tightly knit and thorough within our team and with the artists.
We will be scaling down both our team size and our event quantity to ensure lean and effective plans, executions, and actions.
Despite everything that is happening because of our shortcomings, our only ask is that our own failings do not diminish your support for the artists who are part of our upcoming remaining events. They deserve and need your support.
