Every sound engineer and technician will definitely feel the irk on this.

Regardless of the ongoing issues with the TBA Studios' Quezon film, it's not a right thing to drop a microphone like that on the floor as if it is yours.

Kahit pa high-end na microphone 'yan, it's not meant to be dropped, lalo na kung wireless mic ito. Aside from the uncontrolled popping noise the drop will cause to the FOH, wireless mics can be destroyed when dropped due to internal damage to components like the preamplifier, microphone capsule, or the antenna, even with top brands.

So, no, a mic drop isn't a statement; it's a destructive act.
